in The Mad Fiddler . Fernando Pessoa

Esta coleção de 12 poemas em inglês sob o título The Mad Fiddler foi escrita por Pessoa quando ele era jovem, entre 1915 e 1917. Luis Conceição e Jane Hennessy aceitaram o desafio de musicá-los e vêm compondo temas que refletem o espírito dos bardos celtas. O objetivo final é se conseguir produzir um CD com todos os 12.

This collection of twelve poems in English with the title The Mad Fiddler were written by Pessoa when he was young, between 1915 and 1917. Luis Conceição and Jane Hennessy accepted the challenge of setting them to music, whereas until now they mainly have been exploring the spirit of the Celtic bards. Their goal is to produce a CD with all twelve songs.

Este ano esperam contar com a companhia de um fiddler muito especial. O violinista Roy Nicholls, que depois de uma carreira brilhante no Reino Unido, mudou-se para Tavira onde encanta visitantes e residentes com sua virtuosidade, que generosamente nos mostra em recitas beneficientes na Ponte Romana.

This year they hope to have the company of a very special fiddler. Violinist Roy Nicholls, who after a brilliant career in the United Kingdom, moved to Tavira where he charms visitors and residents with his virtuosity, which he generously shows in charity recitals on the Roman Bridge.
