Fonseca Martins está há 50 anos a pintar Pessoa.
Este ano é o próprio Álvaro de Campos a explicar as imagens de Fernando Pessoa que o pintor não-aristotélico Carlos Fonseca Martins nos apresenta.

This year, Álvaro de Campos himself explains the images of Fernando Pessoa that the non-Aristotelian painter Carlos Fonseca Martins presents to us.

… “Toda a arte parte da sensibilidade e nela realmente se baseia. … o artista não-aristotélico subordina tudo à sua sensibilidade, converte tudo em substância de sensibilidade, para assim, tornando a sua sensibilidade abstrata como a inteligência (sem deixar de ser sensibilidade), emissora como a vontade (sem que seja por isso vontade), se tornar um foco emissor abstrato sensível que force os outros, queiram eles ou não, a sentir o que ele sentiu, que os domine pela força inexplicável…“

… “All art starts from sensibility and is really based on it. … the non-Aristotelian artist subordinates everything to his sensibility, converts everything into the substance of sensibility, in order to make his sensibility abstract like intelligence (without ceasing to be sensibility), emitting like the will (without it being the will itself), and to become a sensitive abstract emitting focus that forces others, whether they want to or not, to feel what he felt, to dominate them by an inexplicable force…”
