Em 2019 o grupo Cheeky Besom Produções de Glasgow, Escócia, juntou-se à Partilha Alternativa em Tavira, Portugal, e promoveram a Festa de Anos EXCLUSIVA no Glasgow Literary Lounge @Calton Bar, para celebrar o aniversário do poeta Álvaro de Campos e contar a verdadeira história desse alter ego de Fernando Pessoa.
In 2019 Cheeky Besom Productions in Glasgow, Scotland, joined Partilha Alternativa in Tavira, Portugal, and threw an EXCLUSIVE Birthday Party in the Glasgow Literary Lounge @ Calton Bar, to celebrate the birthday of poet Álvaro de Campos and tell the true story of Fernando Pessoa’s alter ego.
Desafiaram artistas de Glasgow a irem participar da FESTA do século, transmitida ao vivo pelo Facebook. O resultado foi uma grande participação que gerou várias horas de festa no Calton Bar, onde o grupo promovia mensalmente um encontro literário chamado Glasgow literary Lounge @ Calton Bar.
They challenged Glasgow artists to participate in this Party of the Century, with live streaming on Facebook. The result was a large crowd that generated several hours of partying at Calton Bar, where the group holds a literary meeting (called Glasgow literary Lounge @ Calton Bar) on a monthly basis.
Durante este ano pandemico tiveram que suspender atividades, mas Ruby McCann aproveitou o tempo subitamente livre da quarentena para organizar uma publicação: Calton Ceilidh – Anthology of Literature, Art & Music from the Glasgow Literary Lounge, que a Rymour Books concordou em publicar.
During this pandemic year activities had to be suspended, but Ruby McCann took advantage of her suddenly free time of quarantine to produce a publication: Calton Ceilidh – Anthology of Literature, Art and Music from Glasgow Literary Lounge, which Reymour Books Rymour Books has agreed to publish.
A FESTA EXCLUSIVA PARA ÁLVARO DE CAMPOS é um capítulo deste livro. Infelizmente o agravamento da situação pandêmica empurrou o lançamento para 2021, mas a Ruby McCann fará, a partir de sua casa e na companhia de um musico, uma sessão de apresentação do livro online, que integra a FESTA DOS ANOS DE ÁLVARO DE CAMPOS 2020.. e para o ano o lançamento, esperamos, deverá ser na Faculdade de Engenharia Naval da Universidade de Glagow. A ver se alguém por lá guardou alguma memória literária do estudante Álvaro de Campos…
The EXCLUSIVE PARTY FOR ÁLVARO DE CAMPOS is one of the chapters of this book. Unfortunately, the worsening of the pandemic situation pushed the launch to 2021, but Ruby McCann will do, from her home and in the company of a musician, an online book presentation session, as part of the 2020 BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR ÁLVARO DE CAMPOS. The launch, next year, we hope will happen at the Faculty of Naval Engineering at the University of Glasgow. Who knows, perhaps there are still some lingering memories of the student Álvaro de Campos…
