… A mesa posta com mais lugares, com melhores desenhos na loiça, com mais copos,
O aparador com muitas coisas — doces, frutas, o resto na sombra debaixo do alçado —,
As tias velhas, os primos diferentes, e tudo era por minha causa,
No tempo em que festejavam o dia dos meus anos…

… The table set with more places, with finer designs on the crockery, with more glasses,
The sideboard loaded with many things – sweets, fruit, the rest in shadow under the overhang –,
The old aunts, the different cousins, and it was all because of me,
In the days when they celebrated my birthday…

Pontuada a piano solo, esta sessão de leitura de poesia contempla fragmentos e poemas dispersos de Pedro Jubilot, e alguns versos adaptados de Álvaro de Campos.  Imagina-se em torno da sua/nossa cidade, no seu e nos nossos tempos, interagindo com personagens reais, artistas da cidade, de hoje e de sempre – e a sua envolvência na vida e na paisagem.  

Highlighted by the sound of the piano, this session of poetry reading includes fragments and scattered poems by Pedro Jubilot, and some verses by Álvaro de Campos. Imagining ourselves around his/our city, in his and in our times, interacting with real characters, city artists, of today and forever – and their involvement in city’s life and landscape.
